Rock’n’Roll Hit Musical Comes to Town

This November the West End hit BE BOP A LULA is coming to a theatre near you!

The star-studded show is set to be on our doorstep on Sunday 14th November 7.30pm at the Prince of Wales Theatre, Church Street, Cannock.

Rock n’ roll giants including Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent, Billy Fury, and Buddy Holly, are set to star in this West End hit that presents a slice of rock ’n’ roll history.

It was back in 1960 that American rockers Eddie and Gene first joined forces with British heartthrob Billy Fury in the UK’s very first multi-artist rock ‘n’ roll tour.

Show producer Pete Tobit reminisces on the reviewers initial disapproval of the show’s onstage antics, whilst audiences screamed with approval as British youth culture was born.

Now over six decades on, Tobit promises that Cochran’s legendary guitar riffs, Vincent’s menacingly moody stage presence, Fury’s smouldering looks and soaring vocals, along with Holly’s good-time rock ’n’ roll ensure theatregoers are in for “a real doozer of stage show”.

Tickets cost £25 each and can be purchased via the theatre box office on 01543 578 762.

  1. Would love to have seen this show, but already booked a concert on the same date at the Birmingham Symphony Hall.
